Warehouse/Stock/Despatch Operative
Location: Witham, Essex Reports to: Production Supervisor
About the Role
SGS & Co and SGK have merged to become Collide, a powerhouse dedicated to delivering high-impact print, fabrication, and merchandising solutions globally. This role is part of our expanded production site specialising in large-format graphics and brand experience/display products within the new Propelis ecosystem—an integrated brand ecosystem enabling marketers to execute campaigns faster and with greater precision.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced warehouse/stock/despatch operative to support our growing operations by managing stock levels, logistics, and dispatch workflows with efficiency and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to move, store, and dispatch goods safely and efficiently.
- Handle goods in/out deliveries, maintain stock control records, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Pack goods to company standards, ensuring quality and security for transit.
- Manage the despatch system (training provided) and liaise with the Production Supervisor to expedite orders as required.
- Maintain high-quality standards in all operations, adhering to production schedules and client expectations.
- Work collaboratively with the production team and supervisor to resolve issues, streamline processes, and meet client needs.
- Contribute to problem-solving and developing effective solutions to support departmental or client requirements.

Key Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven forklift truck driving experience (or ability to operate safely and efficiently under training).
- Resilience to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail in stock control, goods management, and quality assurance.
- Basic computer literacy (knowledge of dispatch systems an advantage).
- Ability to follow forced timetables while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
