Company Description

Great Bear | Part of the Culina Group

Location: The Colin McDavid Way, Duckmanton, Chesterfield, S44

Hours: Part-time opportunity working one week per month, ideal for those looking for regular extra hours without committing to a full-time role.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts for the last five weekdays of the month:
    • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
    • 10:00pm – 6:00am
  • Or
  • 4 x 12-hour shifts during the last week of each month.

Job Description

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking motivated and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Duckmanton, Chesterfield. This role supports the handling and distribution of a wide range of household cleaning products and over the counter medicines, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Picking and packing products and supplies to customer specifications with use of Handheld Scanners.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Checking goods received and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and supporting inventory checks.
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly and safely within the warehouse.
  • Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Working as part of a team to achieve operational targets and deadlines.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
  • MHE/VNA experience desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
