We're looking for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our 4 on, 4 off night shift team on our Sonoco contract in Braunstone, Leicester.

Based at Sonoco's production facility, you'll play a key role in supporting a factory-fed warehouse operation, ensuring products are handled safely, accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Safely handling palletised goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Stacking and organising pallets efficiently within storage locations.
  • Accurately scanning pallets to record storage locations.
  • Scanning goods before dispatch to ensure the correct products are loaded.
  • Loading and unloading trailers using the appropriate FLT equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with drivers while following all site health and safety procedures.
  • Checking products and quantities during loading and unloading.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Following all warehouse procedures and company health and safety standards.

What You Need To Succeed At XPO

  • Experience operating an FLT.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Previous warehouse experience (desirable).
  • Either a Counterbalance (B1) or Reach Truck (D1) licence.
  • A willingness to cross-train if you currently hold only one of the above licences.
  • A willingness to undertake training to gain a B3 (16-tonne Counterbalance) licence.
  • Experience with double handling (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
  • Experience with bulk stacking (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
