THE JOB ITSELF:
All general warehouse duties, ensuring a smooth running of the warehouse, including but not limited to helping with inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Using IT equipment associated to complete warehouse tasks.
- Utilising forklifts for the movement of pallets around the warehouse.
Role and responsibilities
- Put away goods into racking using forklift trucks
- Picking goods for despatch using forklift trucks
- Unloading/ loading Lorries using forklift trucks
- Housekeeping- ensuring both inside and the yard are kept clean and tidy
- Checking & wrapping orders prior to despatch- ensuring accuracy is maintained
- Counting and receiving stock incoming onto site using handheld scanners
- Labelling pallets with 3rd parties own labels- ensuring accuracy is maintained
- Restacking and repairing pallets
- Stock checking warehouse locations
- Any other ad hoc warehouse tasks as required
- Complying with all company Health and Safety policies and promoting a safe working environment

Qualifications and education requirements
- Counterbalance Forklift Trained (essential)
- Flexi Forklift trained (desirable)
- Manual Handling
- Pump truck trained
- Wrapping machine trained
Compensation
- Competitive Salary

Hours of Work
- 37.5 hours per week, Hours 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday (fixed)
Holidays
- 22 basic days + Christmas shutdown (holidays increase by 1 day per year after 2 years service up to 25 basic days)
