Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver in Chichester Area
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy and dynamic team. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
- 37 hours per week
- 8 hours per day (4 days per week) and 5 hours (1 day per week)
- Working hours scheduled between 07:00 and 17:00
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Distribution
- Carry out general warehouse and distribution duties
- Assist with collection and delivery of orders
- Support retail packaging activities
- Handle incoming goods, check for shortages, and report discrepancies
- Identify, isolate, and report damaged or incorrect goods
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient warehouse environment
- Operate equipment safely, including forklift trucks and stackers

Stock Management
- Assist with stock control, audits, and record keeping
- Maintain accurate stock levels in collaboration with internal teams
Administration
- Support stock data processing
- Assist in preparing shipping and delivery documentation
General Duties
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times
- Follow company procedures, including Health & Safety and quality standards
- Take part in training and development opportunities
- Complete any additional tasks as required by management

Essential Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Ability to perform manual handling/heavy lifting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organization and time management skills
