Warehouse Operative (Packaged & Fresh Distribution Centres) – Hinckley

A Day in the Life
- Packaged Distribution Centre: Automated, dynamic workflows requiring precise order assembly.
- Fresh Distribution Centre: Manual handling of perishable goods, fast-paced operations.
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting store colleagues by assembling orders accurately to meet customer demands.
- Picking and manually handling stock efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Ensuring stock is received, stored, packed, and transported to the highest standards.
- Taking responsibility for safety – your own and your team’s.
- Mastering tools and Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) with provided training.
- Collaborating seamlessly as part of a team or working independently when required.

Pay & Perks
Competitive Pay:
- Day Rate: £14.55 per hour.
- Performance Bonuses (based on accuracy):
- 88%+ performance → +£0.30/hour
- 92%+ performance → +£06/hour
- 99%+ performance → +£1.00/hour
- Additional overtime, weekend, and premium payments included.
Benefits Package:

Flexible Work Hours: Rotational shift pattern (alternating weekly):
- 06:00–14:00 (AM shift, not fixed).
- 14:00–22:00 (PM shift). Candidates must be flexible for AM-PM shifts, including weekends! (On rare occasions, 10-hour shifts 4-days-a-week will apply, based on availability.)

Holidays: Start with 20 days, rising to 22 days + Bank Holidays after 12 months.
