Warehouse Operative – Hinckley New Distribution Centre
About the Role
This is your first step towards a rewarding career. Starting as a Warehouse Operative can open doors to future management roles. As part of our team, you’ll thrive on making a real difference through hands-on work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
You don’t need prior warehouse experience—full training will be provided. This role is perfect if you’re proactive, enjoy teamwork, and delivering tangible results.
A Day in the Life
You’ll work across two key areas:
- Packaged Distribution Centre
- Fresh Distribution Centre
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting store colleagues by efficiently and accurately assembling orders
- Picking, manually handling, and safely managing stock
- Ensuring a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment
- Receiving, storing, packing, and transporting goods according to our high standards
- Taking ownership of your own safety and supporting others
- Training and using Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) proficiently
- Working both independently and as part of a dynamic team
Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Demonstrate passion for customer service
- Bring energy and enthusiasm for a busy environment
- Show a can-do attitude to learn new skills and work across multiple shifts
- Are reliable, punctual, and adaptable to fast-paced changes
- Are willing to go the extra mile to meet challenges
- Must own transport as own vehicles are essential due to shift patterns

How We Support Your Success
- Competitive pay with performance bonuses:
- 88%+ performance: +£0.30/hr
- 92%+ performance: +£0.60/hr
- 99%+ performance: +£1.00/hr
- Starting day rate: £14.55/hr plus overtime, weekend, and premium payments
- Opportunity to migrate to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Hinckley
