Warehouse Operative – Milton Keynes (Kiln Farm)

Salary: Up to £31,500 per annum (depending on relevant licences and experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm (1 hour break) | 45 hours per week

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is the UK’s specialist in commercial foodservice equipment logistics. From their Kiln Farm and Wymbush hubs in Milton Keynes, they handle nationwide deliveries, installations, removals, and storage for some of the biggest names in the industry. Their warehouses are more than just storage – they’re the engine room of their operation, and with exciting new systems and process improvements, it’s a great time to join their team.

The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy Milton Keynes operation. This is a hands-on role, working with high-value catering equipment in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, care, and attention to detail really matter.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and checking commercial catering equipment (Goods In).
  • Carrying out quality checks.
  • Admin tasks; Use of PC / warehouse software.
  • Safe handling, loading, and storage of high-value goods.
  • Unloading lorries and moving stock using pallet trucks, sack barrows, and forklifts.
  • Performing daily MHE / forklift checks and maintaining safe working practices.
  • General housekeeping and ensuring compliance with H&S standards.
  • Drive a 3.5T Luton box van locally (mainly between their warehouses in Milton Keynes).
  • Supporting process improvements as the warehouse continues to develop.

About You:

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential.
  • Counterbalance or Bendi / Flexi forklift licence (desirable).
  • Full driving licence (Category B – desirable).
  • Comfortable with some heavy lifting.
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and a strong team player.
