Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a well-respected and successful client in Polar Park.

Workplace Details

Key Duties
- Item Picking: Accurately picking items from warehouse stock as per order sheets.
- Order Preparation: Wrapping orders securely for despatch.
- Equipment Operation: Running all authorised equipment (e.g. high lifts, fork lifts, trolleys) to meet health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Physical Tasks:
- Checking stock and cages.
- Stock replenishment.
- Pushing, pulling, and lifting weights of 20kg–30kg (linens, toiletries).
- Hazardous Materials: Ensuring safe handling of sensitive materials.
- Security: Performing checks on trolleys and reporting findings (per training).
Shift pattern
This role operates 7 Days a Week at a UK airport, requiring high flexibility in working hours.
Example Shifts
A typical rotational schedule would follow: 07:00 AM – 15:00 PM 07:00 AM – 15:00 PM 07:00 AM – 15:00 PM 07:00 AM – 15:00 PM – OFF – – OFF –
Note: Schedule can change due to operational needs (sometimes 06:00 AM–18:00 PM applied).

Requirements
Must meet the following to be considered:
Documentation & Verification
✔ Valid Passport + National Insurance Number (proof required). ✔ Driving licence/Birth Certificate/National ID for identity checks. ✔ Proof of address (current). ✔ 5-year residential address history (verification required). ✔ 5-year work history reference(s). ✔ Settled/Pre-settled Status in the UK (if applicable).
✔ Basic Criminal Record Check: Non-disqualifying convictions only. ✔ Right to Work: Valid UK visum/refugee/humanitarian protection.
Security Clearance
Since this is an airport-based role, candidates MUST:
- Pass CAA-compliant security checks.
- Complete a DBS check (no disqualifying criminal convictions).
- Provide full 5-year work/address history on application.
