Warehouse Operative - Luton
Day Shift Operation & Warehouse Jobs – Robotics-Led Environment
Join our Day Shift team in a robotics-led, state-of-the-art warehouse and build a career with real progression opportunities.
About the Role
No warehouse experience needed — just bring a positive attitude. To apply, you must:
- Be 18 years or over
- Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Handle Meat and Alcohol (food cabinets optional)
- Be within a reasonable commute of the site
- Understand and follow Health & Safety briefings and operational instructions
- Be able to work in ambient and chilled areas (0–5°C)
Shift pattern: 4 days in every 7-day period, covering full week days and weekends.
Available Roles
Despatch Team
Day Shift Hours: 07:00 to 17:00 Night Shift Hours: 20:00 to 07:00
- Load customer orders into delivery frames
- Organise returned totes for reusability
- Physical role involving lifting (no gym required!)

Pick Team
Day Shift Hours: 06:00 to 16:00 Night Shift Hours: 19:00 to 06:00
- Operate latest robotic systems to pick and pack customer orders
- Ideal for those who love attention to detail and keeping busy
Inbound Team
Day Shift Hours: 06:00 to 17:00 Night Shift Hours: 19:00 to 06:00
- Receive and quality-check incoming goods
- Place items in totes ready for picking
Compensation & Benefits
Salary & Overtime
- Basic rate: £12.93 per hour
- Night shift premium (11.45 pm – 5.45 am): £2.75 extra per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.25x basic rate
