Warehouse Operative (Night Shift)

Warehouse Operative (Night Shift) - Nelson Main Site - £15.12 per hour

Shift Pattern

  • 34 hours per week
  • 4 nights per week (Sun–Fri nights)
  • Starts at 7pm, finish time depends on van loads

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for efficient operations in our fast-paced warehouse, ensuring accuracy when picking and packing customer orders—ready for same-day delivery across our logistics network. Key duties include:

  • Scanning handheld devices to confirm stock is correct, adhering strictly to health & safety protocols.
  • Rotating stock to maintain product freshness where applicable.
  • Keeping the warehouses tidy, clean, and organised at all times.
  • Collaborating as part of a dynamic team to maintain smooth operations during night shifts.

What You Will Need

  • Reliability & teamwork: Ability to perform safely as part of a cohesive team.
  • Communication skills and problem-solving attitude: Enthusiasm to go the extra mile is a must.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous execution under deadlines—speed without errors is a priority.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to rotate night-shift patterns between Sunday–Friday from the Nelson region.
  • Local preference: Commutable from Nelson, Colne, Barnoldswick, Earby, Burnley, or Accrington with access to the M65.
