Job Description
Company Name: DPD UK Location: Bournemouth Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 Hours Per Week Days of Work: Friday to Tuesday Start Time: 00:30
Role: This is an Energetic, active, and physically demanding Warehouse Operative Nights position. You will be on your feet the entire shift, directly supporting the delivery of outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading/unloading, scanning, and precision sorting of parcels with 100% accuracy
- Heavy handling—move up to 25kg (great for fitness!)
- Operate all DPD technology, ensuring parcels reach their correct destinations on time
- Safely run handling equipment, scanners, and conveyor systems
- Maintain high safety and hygiene standards across the warehouse
- Quality checks: Improve accuracy for parcel labels and conditions, flagging issues immediately to your supervisor
- Collaborate with your team to hit daily objectives
- Dependability is key: Consistently meet attendance expectations
