About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for completing a variety of warehouse tasks with precision and efficiency, including goods receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch. You will play a hands-on part in supporting daily operations, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and service are consistently upheld. Working closely with team members and other departments across the business, you will ensure all stock movements are timely and accurate. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational efficiencies and supporting positive change within the warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, checking, and sorting a wide range of products entering the warehouse.
  • Picking, packing, and relocating stock across the Distribution Centre using both manual and mechanical methods.
  • Operating equipment such as pump trucks, powered pump trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Loading and unloading palletised products into or from vehicles.
  • Performing stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, upholding health and safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Supporting the team in processing, packaging, and shipping orders securely and on time.

You will be working 9 pm – 7 am, 4 nights on, 4 nights off on a rota. Please note this is an active, physically demanding role which involves regular lifting of products up to 25kg and walking long distances throughout the warehouse. Due to working with or near material handling equipment, applicants must be aged 18 or over.
