To support warehouse operations during the night shift by ensuring the accurate and efficient picking, handling, and movement of stock in a fast‑paced environment, while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
- Loading and unloading vehicles in line with health and safety procedures
- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring deadlines are met
- Carrying out stock control tasks, including stock counts and checks
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following all warehouse procedures, safety rules, and company policies
- Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems where required
- Reporting any stock discrepancies, damages, or issues to supervisors Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks Knowledge Requirements Basic knowledge of Maths and English*, including:
- Counting, checking quantities, and basic calculations
- Reading instructions, pick lists, and labels
- Basic written and verbal communication Additional Information
- This role involves night work and manual handling
- Full training will be provided
