Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:00 - 17:30), Sunday (10:30-16:30)

The role
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to, reporting any areas of concern to a Team Leader or Manager immediately
- Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
- Work to standard operating procedures, ensuring that processes are adhered to
- Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) when trained to do so, ensuring visual safety checks prior to use ensuring that all defects are reported
- Maintain high levels of stock accuracy, carry out stock counts as required by Line Management
- Maintain high standards of site housekeeping
- Keep up to date with all relevant training regarding product handling, assembly, health and safety
- Support a culture where the customer is at the heart of everything we do
- Care of products as if they were your own
- To adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
- To undertake any tasks as reasonably requested by management.
Knowledge/Skills
- Understands the importance of an effective warehousing operation
- Professional attitude
- Clear, confident verbal communicator
- Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy items
- Desirable – previous experience of using Mechanical Handling Equipment, Hand Held Scanners/PDA
- Familiarity with computer-based WMS.
- Meticulous attention to detail combined with speed of work.
- System-led approach while showing initiative to fix system issues immediately and proactively.
