Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative – Belfast Warehouse (DFDS)
We’re looking for someone who keeps things moving and thrives when under pressure. If you’re ready to deliver, you could be the next addition to our busy team in our Belfast Warehouse.
About the Role
- Shifts Available:
- Sunday–Thursday: 22:30 – 06:30
- Tuesday–Saturday: 10:30 – 18:30
- Wednesday–Saturday: 08:30 – 18:30
You’ll be part of a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse, handling stock and preparing orders to strict deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, pick, assemble, and load orders while meeting KPIs
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and adhere to customer schedules
- Handle stock carefully to minimise damage and ensure precision
- Safely use Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) (including pre-start checks and defect reporting)
- Follow health & safety, food hygiene, and environmental procedures
- Inspect stock on arrival and store it correctly based on temperature requirements
- Complete operational documentation accurately and within deadlines

About You
We’re searching for a task-driven, flexible, and collaborative individual who excels under pressure. Here’s what you bring to the role:
- Ability to read and follow instructions under stress
- Strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and meeting deadlines regularly
While an MHE licence (reach/counterbalance) is desirable, it’s not mandatory. Experience or awareness of warehouse operations and a strong health & safety mindset would be a plus.
