Job Details
Hours: 33 hours per week
Shift pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 16:00–23:00
- Friday: 15:00–22:00
- Sunday: 08:00–13:00
- Saturday: off
- 1 rotation day off
Salary: £12.96 per hour

About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain team in our Service Centre (Newcastle). As a key player in serving millions of patients across the UK, you will be responsible for uphaving the integrity of our medical supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish the Automat system
- Pick and pack orders (manual belt, bulk, fridge and secure areas)
- Handle roles within transport and routing completed orders to their destinations
Requirements
- Flexibility and adaptability in work responsibilities

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good visual accuracy, numeracy and communication abilities

A note: In addition to these requirements:
- Physical progression: Standing/walking for long periods and carrying out manual handling aligned to our safety standards is mandatory.

Educational/Experience:
- Completion of High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent) is required.
- 2+ years of experience in:
- Warehouse support
- Distribution operations
- Shipping/receiving
- Inventory control
- Material handling
Advanced:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in:
- Fleet operations administration and transportation processes
- Warehouse operations (receiving, storage, order prep, shipment, inventory)
- Logistics documentation, transaction controls, operational records
- Systems for tracking, status updates, and transaction processing
- Loss prevention and operational control adherence
Operational Competencies
- Ability to process routine/moderate operational activities within defined procedures
- Problem-solving: Identifying routine operational issues, analyzing operational data and assisting resolution
- Accurate recordkeeping for transactions and operational workflow visibility
- Clear communications with internal/external stakeholders for moderately important operational info
- Continuous improvement: Support changes in systems and processes within established guidelines
