Warehouse Operative – New Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain team at our Service Centre in Newcastle. As a key player in serving millions of patients across the UK, you will ensure the integrity of the medical supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish the Automat System
- Pick and pack orders on manual picking belts, bulk, fridge, and secure areas
- Carry out roles within transport and routing, ensuring completed orders reach their destination

Application Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field
- Preferred:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification
- Knowledge in:
- Fleet operations administration and transportation support processes
- Warehouse operations (receiving, storage, order prep, shipment processing, inventory movement)
- Logistics documentation, transaction controls, and record maintenance
- Warehouse and transportation systems for status updates, tracking, and transactions
- Loss prevention, material handling, and operational controls
- Ability to perform routine and moderately complex operational tasks
- Basic problem-solving skills (identifying causes of operational issues)
- Ability to maintain accurate records across logistics workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholders
- Capacity to support continuous process improvements

Roles Specific Requirements
This role requires the ability to: ✔ Work in intervals of standing/walking closely ✔ Perform manual handling aligned with Health & Safety standards
Note: For operational reasons, no "reasonable adjustments" can be made in relation to manual handling without impacting Applicant duties.

Eligibility & Location
- Building hours: Monday–Thursday: 16:00–23:00, Friday: 15:00–22:00, Sunday: 08:00–13:00
- Saturday off + 1 rotation day off
- Posting for roles based at our Newcastle Service Centre
