Summary
£13.45 - £14.45 per hour* | 37.5-hour contract | 22.00pm - 06.00am | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata)

As a Warehouse Operative (Recycling), you’ll help keep our warehouses running smoothly, making sure recyclables are processed quickly and efficiently. From card and plastic to food waste, it’s your energy that helps us work hard and get the job done.
Our warehouses never stop running, and neither does our recycling team. You’ll roll up your sleeves, work with your colleagues, and become a pro at everything you do. This is a fast-paced role where your passion for recycling helps turn everyday tasks into real wins – reducing waste, keeping things moving, and making a difference every single day.
In return, we’ll give you a competitive salary based on equal opportunity and pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, as well as a generous benefits package designed to support your well-being and life outside Lidl.

What you'll do
- Check vehicles into the recycling area
- Process card, plastic, and food waste efficiently
- Work with contractors and colleagues to keep collections on track
- Update our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with pallet counts and report issues
- Use machinery safely to move pallets and complete tasks
- Support driver debriefs and check the outbound lanes to ensure pallets are in the right place every time
- Help warehouse operations and keep standards high with a clean-as-you-go approach
What you'll need
- Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Willingness to work with all types of stock, whether it’s indoors, outdoors, or in chilled areas
- Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks
- Good attention to detail, even when working quickly
- A can-do attitude and pride in doing a great job
