Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operatives – Join Our Team at Müller in Leeds
The purpose of this full-time, permanent role is to manually pack milk into trolleys, move trolleys, and empty them across the chill warehouse. Operations will take place in a fast-paced environment, requiring meticulous knowledge of products and processes involved in daily deliveries.
Location & Contract
📍 **Leeds Depot (WF6 1RY) 📈 Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 rotations – Wednesday–Sunday or Friday–Tuesday, starting at 14:00 ⚡ Pay Rate: £13.17 per hour, with additional premiums:
- Weekdays: Standard rate
- Saturdays: 1.25x
- Sundays: 1.5x
- Overtime (including unsociable hours 6PM–4AM): 1.5x
- Unsociable hours (6PM–4AM): 23% uplift
Key Responsibilities
- Operate chill trolley packers and shrink-wrappers
- Load/unload inbound/outbound vehicles
- Rotate stock; check expiry dates
- Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), work instructions, and risk assessments
- Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Conduct quality control checks to meet product standards
- Replenish materials; assist with team training
- Open communication across departments
- Carry out other tasks as required
