About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join our Sainsbury's contract within the Ambient Chamber team in Sherburn in Elmet (LS25 6JH). Whether you're experienced in warehousing or looking to start a career in logistics, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with excellent training and development opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll help ensure stores receive the right products, at the right time, and in excellent condition. Working in our Ambient Chamber – a warehouse environment storing room-temperature products – you'll be responsible for:
- Picking and packing customer orders using a voice-picking system
- Supporting other warehouse-related activities as required throughout your shift
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures and warehouse standards
- Operating MHE equipment where required (full training provided)

Shift Details
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 out of 7 days, rotating between the following shifts:
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
Please note: There is no public transport available to the site, so you must be able to travel independently to LS25 6JH for the required shift times.

Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, but not essential
- A flexible, positive, and proactive approach to work
- The ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling
- A strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
