Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Summary of Role
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Operative to join our night shift operation. This role plays a vital part in ensuring customer orders are accurately sorted, handled, and prepared for distribution while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and service.
Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Replenishing stock
- Moving products safely throughout the warehouse
- Ensuring all orders are allocated to the correct delivery routes
Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload inbound vehicles and trailers.
- Accurately load outbound vehicles for delivery.
- Sort and distribute customer orders to the correct routes and locations.
- Replenish stock in accordance with operational requirements.
- Transfer goods safely to designated dispatch areas.
- Follow established checking, scanning, and verification procedures.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
- Adhere to all health and safety, security, and quality procedures.
