Warehouse Operative Job Description
About the role
As a warehouse operative, you will work within our busy warehouse, working both alone and as part of a team, reporting directly to the warehouse manager. You’ll work to ensure all deliveries are received and dispatched in a timely and efficient manner.
This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast-paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency, and with so much ground to cover, it is important to ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of tyres using manual handling techniques.
- Moving and storing tyres in the correct warehouse area.
- Ensure all products are free from damage and report any discrepancies.
- Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards.
- Consistently working to good standards of health and safety and meeting company warehouse standards and procedures.

Qualifications And Competencies

- Previous experience is an advantage, at least 1 year.
Working Pattern
- Full Time- Permanent
- Weekdays 05:00-09:00 start time – variable
- Saturdays 06.00-13.00 (Rota Basis)
