What you’ll be doing: Managing the full Goods In process, including receiving inbound deliveries, checking paperwork, and ensuring all stock is logged accurately in line with company procedures Carrying out detailed inspections of incoming goods, verifying quantities, checking for damages, and ensuring all products meet quality and safety standards before they enter the warehouse Breaking down and unloading deliveries using safe manual handling techniques and appropriate equipment, ensuring all items are handled with care and precision Allocating and labelling stock correctly, updating systems, and moving products to the right storage locations to keep inventory accurate and easy to access Maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised Goods In area, supporting smooth workflow, reducing hazards, and promoting an efficient working environment Following all company policies and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety expectations and maintaining consistently high standards Communicating with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve delivery discrepancies, report issues, and keep everyone informed about stock movements Playing a key role in quality control, identifying defects, reporting concerns, and ensuring only approved, high-standard products enter the warehouse system What we need from you: MUST have FLT counterbalance licence Physical fitness – stay active and engaged in a role that keeps you moving A positive, hardworking attitude and a flexible mindset ready for any challenge A passion for attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in everything you do Right to work in the UK – you must have the legal right to work in the UK We love to reward our people for the great work they do: 🪴 Build a secure future with a competitive Pension Scheme 🌟 Peace of mind with Life Insurance 🚴 Stay active with our Cycle2Work scheme 🤝 Get the support you need with our Employee Assistance Program The InPost process: We pride ourselves on our candidate experience.
