Driver Hire Winchester is recruiting on behalf of one of our trusted and growing clients for a Warehouse Operative to join their friendly team. If you’re reliable, hardworking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Please Note: Our client is currently based in North Baddesley but will be relocating to Andover towards the end of the year. This role is ideal for candidates living in the Winchester area or those with their own transport.
📦 The Role
As a valued member of the warehouse team, you’ll play an important part in keeping operations running smoothly by ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.

Your Duties Will Include
- Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy
- Booking in deliveries and checking incoming goods
- Preparing orders for dispatch
- Organising and replenishing warehouse stock
- Completing stock counts and inventory checks
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily targets
🕒 Working Hours
Current Location (North Baddesley):
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 6:00pm
Following Relocation to Andover:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
No weekend work – enjoy a great work-life balance!
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Competitive salary of £33,000–£35,000 per annum
- Monthly performance bonus after successful completion of three months
- 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity
- Full training and ongoing support
- Monday to Friday working schedule

✅ What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a great team player
- Own transport is highly desirable due to the current location and upcoming move to Andover
