About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by always ensuring orders are picked and packed, ready to be delivered to our customers. They are champions of customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes.

As a Warehouse Operative working on a zero-hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering any holidays or absences.

Main Duties Include

  • Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
  • Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
  • Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
  • Verifying stock quantities against the computer while ensuring stock is stored in allocated bin locations

Working Hours

Up to 41 (average) hours per week, Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday shifts—depending on branch needs.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A strong track record working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • A good team player
  • Efficiency with good attention to detail
  • Understanding of customer service and meeting deadlines
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable
