Warehouse Operative (Zero Hours/Casual) – Local Branch
As a Warehouse Operative at GSF Car Parts, you’ll be vital to our team, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and delivered efficiently to our customers. This role requires champions of customer service, able to coordinate warehouse stock while respecting tight delivery timeframes. You’ll support the branch with cover for holidays and absences on a zero-hours/casual basis.
Main Duties
- Checking and putting away supplier-delivered parts
- Picking and loading vans accurately and on time
- Assessing customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge eligibility
- Verifying stock quantities against the system and ensuring parts are stored in the correct bin locations

Average Working Hours: Up to 41 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work depending on branch needs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A strong background in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a team setting
- High standards of attention to detail and efficiency
- Reliable customer service skills, including meeting deadlines
- Good numeracy and literacy proficiencies
- Clear and effective communication skills
- (Desirable) Familiarity with car parts or the automotive industry
