Warehouse Operative/Relief HGV Driver – Cannington (Huws Gray Group)

We’re recruiting a Warehouse Operative/Relief HGV Driver to help our team in Cannington. This role is fast-paced, practical, and ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, collaborating with a team, and delivering top-notch customer service.


What You’ll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Operative/Relief HGV Driver, your role is vital to the smooth running of our yard. Here’s what the day-to-day involves:

  • Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers when they visit the yard
  • Safely receiving and organising deliveries, ensuring the yard remains tidy and secure
  • Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading to keep supplies moving and deliveries on time
  • Conducting occasional local deliveries when cover is needed (e.g., during holidays or absences)
  • Maintaining stock security and adhering to all safety procedures

What You’ll Bring

No formal qualifications are required—we’ll provide on-the-job training and support. What’s important is:

  • A willing attitude to learn and contribute wherever needed
  • The ability to work safely and compromised
  • A Class 2 HGV license (essential)
  • (Optional bonus!) An existing forklift license– but this isn’t mandatory

Training & Development
