The Role

We are looking for a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent position available on night shift.

Role Details

  • 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (12‑hour shifts)
    • This shift pattern offers predictability, extended rest periods, and the ability to plan time outside of work.
  • Average of 42 hours per week
  • Nights: 18:00–06:00
  • Nights Hourly rate: £17.39 (£14.79 plus a shift allowance of £2.60 per hour)

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

  • Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme
  • Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatch
  • Unload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generation
  • Pick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles in line with despatch paperwork
  • Work safely at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures and raising any concerns through appropriate channels
  • Ensure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing pre‑use documentation and reporting any vehicle or plant damage according to procedure
  • Participate in training and support the development of colleagues when required, including acting as a mentor for new team members

  • Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role
  • Valid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (certification required)
  • A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English
