Warehouse Operator
We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to support our cheese production and warehousing operation on the Isle of Bute.
The role involves supplying production lines with ingredients and packaging, handling cheese products, building pallets for storage and transport, and carrying out general warehouse support activities.
This is a physically active role requiring regular manual handling and close teamwork with production and warehouse colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplying ingredients, packaging and materials to production areas.
- Moving and handling 10kg cheese blocks and other materials in a safe manner.
- Building and preparing pallets of finished product for storage and transport.
- Decanting cheese blocks onto standard pallets to support production requirements.
- Maintaining stock rotation and product traceability.
- Keeping warehouse and work areas clean, organised and safe.
- Completing basic paperwork and stock records as required.
- Supporting wider warehouse operations and loading activities when required.

Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Able to undertake regular manual handling duties.
- Good attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to follow site food safety, quality and health & safety procedures.
Full training will be provided.
