Warehouse Operator – Aberdeen, Based
GAC UK is seeking dynamic candidates to join its team as a Warehouse Operator based in Aberdeen. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where achieving higher standards of quality, safety and reliability is paramount, this could be your opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance
- Uphold a proactive QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) approach to all activities.

Client & Team Coordination
- Effectively liaise with logistics teams, warehouse colleagues, and clients to meet operational and service requirements (both verbally and via email).

Cargo Handling & Storage
- Ensure safe and orderly handling and storage of goods.

Operational Workflow
- Conduct goods-in reception, line checking, and accurate put-away (both manually and via our in-house stock management system).
- Perform pick, pack, and consolidate operations for both North Sea and international freight before dispatching through systems.
- Pack and secure containers for shipping.

Forklift Operations
- Operate counterbalance forklifts to load/unload transport, moving stock into storage or onto the yard.

- Communication & Administrative Duties
- Manage email, Teams, and customer requests efficiently, responding to queries and processing communications promptly.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills to maintain clear and productive working relationships.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage competing deadlines.
- A disciplined approach to safety, valuing a proactive QHSSE culture.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and order processing.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience

Familiarity with logistics or warehouse management systems.

Previous experience in a (preferably industrial) warehouse setting.

Counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous but not essential – training will be provided to successful candidates.
Working Arrangements
Upon completing training, successful applicants will join our 24/7 roster, including evening and weekend shifts – ensuring GAC’s availability to meet customers’ needs at all times.
