Warehouse Operative - Tewkesbury

Fassa Bortolo is looking for a Warehouse Operative for its commercial office in Tewkesbury. This role ensures efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy while supporting technical activities and contributing to Fassa UK’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate production records and data for all tinted materials.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels effectively, ensuring timely communication with all relevant departments to support proper inventory control.
  • Receive, handle, and distribute supplies and equipment to internal departments.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas by optimizing floor space, following storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through monthly physical counts, variance reconciliation, and data entry.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the warehouse at all times.
  • Maintain equipment by enforcing operating procedures, troubleshooting issues, coordinating preventive maintenance, and arranging repairs when needed.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge through training and industry publications.
  • Contribute to overall warehouse and organizational objectives by completing related tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with the Fassa UK Ltd team to uphold quality and operational standards.
  • Operate the Tinting Machine to prepare samples.
  • Provide remote technical support to customers using Tinting Machines, assisting with formulation issues and basic maintenance where possible.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of Fassa products and application cycles.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management to support the company’s effective operation.

Role Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse / stock‑control role.
  • Valid UK forklift licence and practical experience operating a forklift; safe manual‑handling skills.
  • High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record‑keeping for production/tinted materials.
  • Competence with inventory control (stock counts, variance reconciliation) and basic digital tools (e.g., WMS/Excel).
  • Basic mechanical/technical aptitude; ability to learn and follow operating procedures.
  • Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Tewkesbury.
  • Full UK driving licence.
