Key Responsibilities
- Load / Unload material daily using lifting equipment.
- Locate material into appropriate locations both physically & systematically.
- Complete daily / weekly cycle counts and report errors.
- Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Operate forklift and reach trucks.
- Complete daily SAP transactions.
- Perform daily forklift checks.
- Update daily despatch reports.
- Communicate with internal & external customers via telephone and email to resolve problems.
- Run courier end of day reports and ensure totals match physical.
- Unload couriers and palletize returns.
- Open and identify product and sort into storage bins.
- Monitor manufacturing lines and fill production area with required material.
- Remove excess material from production and return to stock.
