S&J Retail Ltd is a rapidly growing UK online grocery retailer based in Wellingborough. We sell a wide range of global foods to customers across the UK and dispatch over 2,000 customer orders a day from our busy warehouse operation.
About the Role
We are looking for reliable, hardworking Warehouse Packers to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a busy, fast-paced warehouse role where shifts are active and the day goes quickly. Accuracy, speed, consistency and teamwork are essential, as you will be helping to make sure customer orders are packed correctly and sent out on time.
The role is based at our Wellingborough warehouse and works 5 days out of 6 on a Monday to Saturday rota, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Tasks
As a Warehouse Packer, you will be responsible for packing, labelling and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Main duties include:
- Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Labelling parcels ready for dispatch
- Checking products and orders for accuracy
- Handling a variety of grocery and retail products
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily order targets
- Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation and care when packing orders

Requirements
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
Previous warehouse or packing experience would be an advantage, but we will consider candidates from other fast-paced working environments who can show they are reliable, hardworking and able to keep up with the pace of the role. The ideal candidate will be:
- Able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with active, hands-on work, including standing for long periods and manual handling
- Careful, organised and able to maintain good attention to detail
- A positive team player with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and work in line with company standards
- Flexible to work 5 days out of 6 on a Monday to Saturday rota
