As the world leader in the manufacturing of wood based panel products, we are seeking a loyal, ambitious and passionate warehouse picker to support a new project for the business.

Job Description

We depend on our Warehouse Pickers to efficiently pick, prepare, and despatch customer orders while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and productivity.

  • Ensure customer orders are picked, labelled, banded, and prepared for dispatch safely and within agreed timescales.
  • Make the best use of our warehouse systems, equipment, and resources to support the smooth operation of the business.
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times, following company procedures and wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including Forklift Trucks (FLT) and Electric Pump Trucks (where authorised), carrying out pre-use safety checks and reporting any defects.
  • Follow safe manual handling techniques when moving materials and products.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe throughout each shift.
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse picking or warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
  • FLT licence or experience operating warehouse equipment is advantageous.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
