£39,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours
9am - 6pm, 5 over 7 shift pattern (including weekends)
About the Company
At Reynolds Catering Supplies, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading fresh produce and chilled food suppliers to the foodservice industry. With over 3,000 products and a heritage dating back to 1945, we’re continuing to grow and seek a Section Head to help lead this journey at our Waltham Cross distribution centre.
The Role
Step into a leadership role within a growing, family-run business where people, performance, and progression matter.
As a Section Head, you will:
- Lead and develop a team of 8–16 colleagues to ensure your operations area consistently delivers safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse performance.
- Take full ownership of Section performance, driving productivity, standards, and timely customer orders.
- A hands-on leadership role, balancing team management, operational delivery, and continuous improvement.

Performance & KPI Management
- Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and customer service levels.
- Implement corrective actions as needed.

Operational Excellence
- Allocate resources to meet daily operational demands.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and customer service.

Resource & Compliance Management
- Manage labour costs (overtime, agency usage, and absence control).
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards.

Communication & Problem-Solving
- Deliver clear briefings and maintain strong working relationships across teams.
- Act as Deputy to the Senior Operations Manager when required.
Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics leadership (e.g., Section Head or Supervisor).
- Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching, development, and performance.
- Experience managing KPIs, operational targets, and team performance.
- Ability to prioritise, organise, and excel under pressure.
- Strong communication skills with a professional, confident, and proactive style.
- Problem-solving expertise and experience in conflict resolution.
