IKEA Exeter Warehouse Shift Coordinator
IKEA Exeter are looking for a Warehouse Shift Coordinator to join our team. As a Fulfilment Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the conductor of logistics, orchestrating the flow of products with precision. Join the adventure and become a part of our warehouse operations.
This is a full-time, permanent role working nights.
For this role, we are looking for a strong leader who is able to work amongst a large team and be able to problem solve and work in a fast-paced environment that is ever changing.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Full Time: 39 hours a week, working 5 days per week including alternate weekends.
- This role has a starting salary of £30,000 per annum, final offer will be made based on skills and experience.
- Additional nightshift allowance equivalent to £2.25 per hour.
- Regular shift times will be between the hours of midnight and 10:00am.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Previous experience coordinating a team in a warehouse environment is desirable, with the motivation to manage tasks confidently in a demanding environment.
- Ability to prioritize and organise yours and others workloads swiftly and with attention to detail.
- Experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Experience in planning and improving daily operations.
- You lead, motivate and problem solve through the IKEA Values - people trust you, and you lead by example in the day-to-day.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility in both store and external warehouse. This includes manual handling of heavy stock, unloading, loading and replenishment of goods/orders within the agreed time with the customer in focus.
- Working with or around heavy machinery, such as forklift trucks and counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
- Responsible for the achievement of the goals determined by the Fulfilment Operations Team Leader to support overall fulfilment operations goals and achieve excellence in running operations.
- Supervise the daily operations and assign areas of responsibility for the team, identifying and acting on improvement potentials and ensuring that daily routines are followed.
