Warehouse Shift Manager – Permanent (Full-Time)

- Shift Patterns: Mon to Thurs 8:00–17:00, Friday 8:00–15:00

We're looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to take operational leadership and budget responsibility for managing a safe and efficient operation. Your role will ensure we meet agreed service level agreements and uphold high-performance standards.
✅ A Typical Day May Involve
- Managing a safe operation and embodying a "Safety First" culture by enforcing and improving Safety Standards across all team members.
- Ensuring Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) are up to date, readily accessible to employees, and consistently followed.
- Serving as the first point of customer contact for site-related matters, fostering strong relationships and trust to improve engagement.
- Analysing performance results, pinpointing root causes, and collaborating with your reports and Operations Manager to drive improvements.
- Exhibiting active leadership, taking full responsibility for cultivating employee engagement within your area of responsibility.

✅ This Role Would Suit Those With
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment, ideally in a supervisory or shift management role.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate multi-functional teams (including office-based and warehouse colleagues) to meet operational targets.
- Deep knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transport planning, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and standard IT tools, alongside the ability to analyse data and implement improvements.
- Solid grasp of health & safety regulations and compliance, with a track record of maintaining a safe environment.
