About the Role

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to lead a dynamic shift in our Operations team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of daily warehouse operations—ensuring efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance—while driving team performance, optimizing resources, and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

We specialise in expert, sustainable solutions across:

  • Records & information management
  • Digital transformation services
  • Data centers
  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Fine art storage, handling, and logistics

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Lead daily warehouse shift operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Optimise team performance and resources by coaching staff, managing schedules, and tracking KPIs to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and security standards through:
    • Regular workspace inspections
    • Equipment maintenance tracking
    • Adherence to company protocols
  • Ensure customer expectations and service level agreements are consistently met.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics/distribution environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
    • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
    • Microsoft Office suite
    • Health, safety, and security regulations for warehousing operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with:
    • Demonstrated ability to resolve critical issues under pressure
    • Strong communication and conflict-resolution capabilities
    • High on-site employee engagement
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities and emergencies.
  • Knowledge of cost management and budget controls in a warehouse setting.
