Responsibilities

The benefits include £61.15 per week payment for weekend / BH working and bonus up to £1500 per annum.

Position Summary

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure daily workloads, performance targets, and key operational KPIs are achieved. The position requires maintaining audit readiness at all times, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety, and company hygiene standards. It also involves supporting operational continuity by briefing Team Leaders and providing cover for Shift Managers during holidays and absences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing warehouse operations through effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Overseeing loading activities across freezer, chill, and dry areas
  • Ensuring all processes meet quality and company standards
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
  • Ensuring compliance with QIP procedures
  • Managing equipment such as MHE batteries
  • Achieving performance targets
  • Working flexibly to support business needs and management requests

Technical competencies:

  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Previous management experience in a similar FMCG operation
  • Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level
  • Good performance management skills
  • Previous experience with conducting interviews
