Responsibilities

Position Summary
This role is responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure daily workloads, performance targets, and key operational KPIs are achieved.
- Maintaining audit readiness at all times, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety, and company hygiene standards.
- Supporting operational continuity by briefing Team Leaders and providing cover for Shift Managers during holidays and absences.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing warehouse operations through effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Overseeing loading activities across freezer, chill, and dry areas.
- Ensuring all processes meet quality and company standards.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
- Ensuring compliance with QIP procedures.
- Managing equipment such as MHE batteries.
- Achieving performance targets.
- Working flexibly to support business needs and management requests.

Technical Competencies
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Previous management experience in a similar FMCG operation.
- Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level.
- Good performance management skills.
- Previous experience with conducting interviews.
