Warehouse Supervisor – Watford Hub

About the Role

Do you enjoy leading a team to hit delivery targets? Are you skilled at turning warehouse challenges into simple, safe processes? Would you like to develop your career in a busy, people-first distribution team?

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Watford Hub, working Monday to Friday (09:00 – 18:00).

Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will:

  • Support the Hub Manager in taking ownership of the team
  • Ensure operational targets and SLA’s are met
  • Uphold site Health & Safety
  • Resolve team escalations

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting a team of ~5 operatives across warehouse operations:
    • Allocating workload, managing priorities, and coordinating cover for dispatch deadlines
    • Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors
    • Ensuring orders are packed correctly
    • Coaching team members on safe working and best practice
  • Maintaining stock integrity, proper handling, storage, and packing
  • Ensuring compliance with warehouse Health & Safety standards and housekeeping
  • Supporting stock accuracy through checks, investigations, and inventory tasks
  • Tracking work using warehouse systems/scanners
  • Communicating efficiently with internal (customer service/transport/branch teams) and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, external agencies)

  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Advanced Warehouse & Logistics Health & Safety knowledge
  • Proficiency with IT systems
