Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Saffron Walden

Salary: GBP35,000 – GBP40,000 p.a.

Contract: 08:00 - 16:45, Monday to Friday

About the Role

Our client designs bespoke engineered products for high-specification environments, seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to:

  • Implement new processes
  • Identify and drive improvements
  • Report directly to the company’s Directors

The ideal candidate will work hands-on with a small team, ensuring timely and high-quality goods movement. Some delivery support for project work will also be required.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day warehouse operations to keep processes running smoothly
  • Handle goods reception/dispatch, stock control, and quality checks
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate, organised stock and ensure warehouse systems are up to date
  • Collaborate closely with administrative teams on deliveries, purchasing, and projects
  • Lead a small team—providing supervision and maintaining a safe, compliant warehouse environment
  • Support in-house and external delivery operations as necessary

About You

We’re looking for a candidate with:

  • Substantial experience in warehouse operations and stock control
  • A proven ability to analyse processes and increase operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in using IT systems, including warehouse/ERP software
  • A hands-on, proactive approach, with a willingness to tackle daily warehouse tasks
  • A full UK driving licence (held for 6+ years) and being over 25 (for insurance purposes)
  • As a British citizen, ability to obtain security clearance
