Warehouse Supervisor – National Distribution Centre, Rotherham

Location: Alliance Automotive Logistics, Rotherham Reports To: First Line Manager Shift: 4 on, 4 off (18:00–06:00)

The Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor at Rotherham Distribution Centre, you will play a critical role in streamlining warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and accuracy. This position requires leadership, operational expertise, and a proactive approach to optimising workflows.

  • Support First Line Managers in leading and supervising daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure productivity, accuracy, and service KPIs remain consistently high.
  • Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet operational demands.
  • Promote and enforce strict Health & Safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct shift briefings and maintain clear, coordinated communication across teams.
  • Support colleague development, performance management, and training.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and inventory accuracy.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong operational knowledge of receiving, storage, and dispatch procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of Health & Safety practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks where required.
