Job Description

As a Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Direct line management and coaching of Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors, including:
    • Conducting 1:1s to discuss performance vs expectations.
    • Identifying SMART goals when performance is not met across key functional areas within responsibility.
  • Working with the Section Manager for your department to:
    • Monitor delivery to plan.
    • Identify and address improvement opportunities for your shift.
  • Driving performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that meets:
    • Customer web and store demand on time and in full.
  • Driving the highest standards of safety on site, collaborating with the Safety Team to:
    • Adhere to routines and procedures, including:
      • Floor Safety Inspections.
      • Hazard Spotting.
      • Safety Gembas.
      • Risk Assessments.
      • Audits.
  • Reviewing weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover and working with the Section Manager, including:
    • Highlighting issues/feedback where required.
  • Providing detailed analysis when daily/weekly targets are not met, and creating plans to address gaps.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.

  • High potential for people and change management.

  • Good systems skills.

  • A customer-focused approach to operational management.

  • Resilient, flexible, and approachable with proven problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.

  • You will work on a rotation shift pattern: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.
