Warehouse Supervisor at Seafast
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Seafast, you will be responsible for the effective supervision of warehouse staff and work activities, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of daily operational plans and adherence to customer requirements.
Your leadership and organizational skills will directly impact warehouse productivity, the quality of work delivered, the maintenance of a safe and secure working environment, and ultimately contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the business.
Key Duties:
- Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse teams to achieve daily operational targets
- Allocate tasks and clearly communicate daily priorities and responsibilities
- Ensure the daily operational plan is delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and site security
- Monitor warehouse operations to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met
- Deliver excellent customer service through efficient warehouse operations
- Provide coaching and real-time feedback to team members to support performance
- Report operational performance, issues and progress to the Shift Manager
- Identify and help resolve operational, quality and customer issues
- Manage labour resources effectively and escalate staffing requirements when needed
- Operate and support Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes using handheld technology
- Ensure all staff, contractors and visitors follow site procedures
- Support and supervise warehouse shifts, adapting to operational needs where required
- Promote a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environment

Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is desirable but not essential
- Effectively managing and motivating teams
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process understanding
- Analyzing issues and making sound, timely decisions
- Clear communication and strong literacy/numeracy skills
- Trustworthy and dependable, with a strong work ethic
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team
