Summary
This is a supervisory role responsible for the operational and personnel activities of a warehouse section. Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising a section of the warehouse, fostering leadership and direction
- Cultivating independent, high-performing teams
- Supporting the vision of becoming the customer’s most valued and trusted business partner
Key Accountabilities
- Direct supervision of order selectors, loaders, forklift operators, and/or other warehouse employees
- Functional supervision including scheduling and recommendations
- Monitoring and controlling
- Production
- Overtime
- Absences and tardiness
- Truck shortages
- Employee coaching and performance counselling aligned with set goals
- Supervising order selection accuracy, loading of trailers, and product handling to ensure prompt truck departures
- Training, instructing, and demonstrating warehouse duties
- Conducting staff meetings and safety training sessions
- Maintaining adherence to HACCP and Pallas Foods standards for warehouse cleanliness and compliance
- Developing safety protocols to prevent injuries and hazards
- Completing administrative tasks, reporting, and maintaining warehouse records
Requirements
- Esential: Previous experience in:
- Warehouse Management or similar supervisory role
- FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment
- Experience in:
- Change management and continuous improvement
- Flexibility in working hours to meet business needs
- Exceptional:
- Timekeeping and attendance
- Communication skills with proven ability to build and develop teams
- Motivational and interpersonal skills
