Are you an experienced warehouse professional with a passion for leading people and driving performance? Can you motivate a team to achieve operational targets? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment?
Here at GXO, we’re looking for 2 enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leaders to join our multi-user site in West Hallam. You will support the Warehouse/Operations Manager in delivering operational excellence. You will be responsible for supervising and motivating a team of colleagues, ensuring workloads are effectively managed, customer requirements are met, and operational KPIs are achieved within agreed time scales.
These are full-time, permanent positions. You will work ‘any 5 from 7’ on rotating shifts including 05:30 till 14:00 & 13:30 till 22:00. Flexibility is required; this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £31,266.54 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve and exceed operational KPIs and customer expectations
- Manage stock integrity through cycle counting, inventory audits, investigations, and stock control processes
- Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
- Monitor productivity, allocate workloads, and provide performance feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Support customer requirements by responding to queries, producing reports, and maintaining excellent service levels
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or operational supervisory/team leader role
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others
- Excellent communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers, colleagues, and management
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, stock control processes, and inventory management
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
