Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join us at our Sainsbury’s site in Tamworth. As a Warehouse Team Leader you will, lead, manage, coach, motivate and engage a team of people to co-ordinate activities to achieve business goals through effective people manager, continuous improvement, and a focus on self-development.
This is a full time, permanent position, working an any 5 days from 7, 06:00 till 14:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,027.20 per annum and 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead your team in a fast-paced picking operation
- Support with all 1-2-1’s and appraisals
- Support the shift manager with engaging with the team and reacting to the varying inbound workloads
- Lead the team on health & safety, showing good working practices, as you’ll be responsible for keeping all our operational processes fully compliant whilst keeping your people safe
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Good communication skills
- The confidence to challenge the norm and share best practice throughout our team at site
- Flexible to support team and shift manager, maybe some extra hours!
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous
