Warehouse Team Leader - Glamorgan - up to £34,000 + Benefits - Ref 2035

I am currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to work for a cutting-edge technology company based in Glamorgan. Salary up to £34,000 + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for many years and are worldwide leaders within the design, development, and manufacture of their highly intelligent products. As a business they turnover close to £100 million, employ 250 people and are constantly evolving their legacy products as well as designing and developing new innovative products to bring to market.

In line with demand for their products and to support the business with their growth plans they have the need to appoint another Warehouse Team Leader on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Warehouse Team Leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring all materials, components, and finished products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You'll lead and support a team of warehouse operatives, helping them achieve key performance targets relating to safety, productivity, and accuracy and will play a key role in maintaining a well-organised warehouse environment and ensuring operational processes run smoothly.

This is a shift pattern focused role on which you will start on Early's which is 6am - 2pm. Once understanding of the role and business, you will go on a 2-shift pattern which is early's and lates which will be 6am -2pm and 2pm -11pm Mon -Thurs and 2pm - 6pm Fri. The business fluctuates with busy periods, so when you're on a single shift this will be early's Mon-Friday 6am-2pm.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader, Head of Warehouse, Stores Team Lead, Stores Supervisor or similar
  • Forklift Licence
  • Experience with MRP & / or ERP Systems
